Why we do what we do

These roads are often the first and last mile of the journey. The performance of the unsealed roads have a huge impact human and environmental well being. We are passionate about helping our customers obtain the best outcomes from their roads.

How we got here
We have witnessed some of the best and worst moments of unsealed roads in Australia and in the world. We have also seen the consequences of dust on air quality and associated impacts on people and nature. We are aware of the impact poor road quality has on people’s lifestyle, fuel usage and greenhouse emissions. Our vision is to work with our customers to minimise these negative consequences on people and nature in a way that is also sympathetic to financial bottom line.
Our technology provider Cypher Environmental has a culture of “always do what is right” and this is also at the core of what we do at Eco-Road Hero. Their technologies were developed as fresh, innovative and environmentally responsible solutions to long standing dust and road material concerns.

Ivan Heron
Ivan Heron is an Australian chartered professional engineer with over 25 years experience in mining, manufacturing and road maintenance. He has delivered energy efficiency and waste reduction projects in Australia and overseas. Some of the initiatives that were pioneered in his work are now common place in industry.
He is passionate about projects that provide environmental as well as organisational benefits. Ivan makes it a priority to support his customers in a ways to make their projects successful. He is proud to be associated with Cypher Environmental and their culture of “always do what is right”.
